well Larry, I thought about that, so I put a smaller fender on it to see what it looked like...as you can imagine, the lines were way off and it just didn't look like it belonged.

I also bought 2 fender lowering brackets to lower the fender and make the tire sit up into the fender like a 21'' would. Then the nose cone stood like like a sharks head sticking out..and that looked like chit too. So I just decided to stay with the Classic look that the Road Glide is.

Black Fender to match
Black Lowers to match
2007 CVO Chrome Air Cleaner Cover with Medallion
Custom Lizard inlay touring seat w/ back rest , Custom solo alligator seat for short rides
2008 CVO Road King mirrors
Detach Chopped Tour pack w/ chrome hinges
3 Clearview windshields 8'' / GT and Medium all dark tint
Engine build w/ 260Cams, pistons, lifters, rods, 58 mm intake dyno @ 117 and 114
Race Tunner
Cobra Exhaust w/ head pipe
Rear Lowering Brackets
Progressive 940 Rear Shocks
XM Radio w/ hog tune speakers
Escort 850 Radar
Texas HD 110 License Plate

I'm done....

Also, what windshield is that?  I have a stock '09 RG on my '09 SERG O/B and yours looks great.  It also looks like it would supply a good amount of coverage.  Thanks for sharing.

Hello Dan, and thanks for your kind words....The windshield is Clearview medium ''dark'' The shield flows much better w/ the chopped pac than without. When the pac is removed, I'll use the GT or the 8'' re-curve w/ the solo seat as in this picture.

Now you just need to cover that orange paint with yellow and it would be perfect!!  :)

Crusty, I bought a lightly damaged fender from my local dealer for $50, we had about 1.5 hrs of labor in the repair with paint at my body shop. The original fender is in the box for later..

I believe this one was off a Street Glide, and it bolted right on without the spacers. You may want to go that route for the repair, because I don't think factory paint can be blended.

Not to use this thread for selling something but I have a lightly damaged Mirage Orange Pearl front fender from an 07 Road Glide that I'll take $75 PLUS shipping for if anybody else is interested in going with this look.

Is that a Screamin' Eagle light on the wall above the bike?  Is so, where did you get it?

Yes it is an official Screamin Eagle light....and bought it off the dealer principles wall in his office.

I was told by him there were @ 380 of these produced, only one per dealer in the United States in 2003. The purpose of the light was to kick off the production of CVO's in general and anniversary models as well.

We tried to re-source the manufacture in Chicago to support that story. Although the manufacture was out of business, I still think it was a good find.

Looks incredible and completely different.  Very, VERY nice.  Wish I'd thought of that before taking out the second mortgage to do all the stuff I've already done!

I wonder if my wife could get a second job...

I don't want to hurt your feelings but...the light doesn't look quite right in your garage.  Tell you what, to make you feel better, I'll give you $50 US dollars for it and I'll even offer to pay shipping!

Knothead
Beemer decided that that light wasn't worth $50...... So I'll take it for $75 and pay the shipping. ;)
