wd-40 let soak for a few ,then hair dryer for a few and will pull off ,if not use some dental floss to get started than will pull off in one piece with all the glue still on the reflector, goof off works well also

Hair dryer, fishing line... heat the reflectors w/hair dry, run fishing line behind them...

You mean it will do that too!!!  And all of this time I was using it for...

Multipurpose!

Thanks for the reply, will try it out -- heck, if the chrome comes off with WD40, then it must be fabricated in China -- again, thanks.

Does anyone know the easiest way to remove the front reflectors on the chrome front forks WITHOUT DAMAGING THEM? lol  :D
Try using bug spray on the left over glue. Let it soak for a few minutes and the glue will harden and you can roll it off with your fingers.

Grab hold of them and pull. Need new ones buy some but don't worry about the existing ones, they are UGLY. Clean residue with a little GOOP off or similar.

I remember Furnace Creek on July 1,, temp was around 118 degrees that day.... Made a trip to Pahrump with my brother to pick up a nice supply of festive fireworks for our 4th bash in the desert.. Thank god we made the trip in a air conditioned truck.. And we did pass a group of guys riding BMW's staying at Stove Pipe Wells. Riding in that heat is nothing short of torture..   :confused5: and there seemed to be quite a few bike riders enjoying it...   :nixweiss:

I removed them from my '06 with heat and fishing line...no problem.  As ugly as they are, I think I'm gonna keep them on the '11 simply because they provide some side visibility at night, though I rarely ride at night any more.  But when I do, I want to be seen as much as possible.
