Has anyone had a problem with the lean angle with Vance and Hines power duals?  I had them on my 09 Ultra, and with the standard air shocks, they would scrape.  Had to go with Progressives, and that took care of that issue.  Using them on my 2011 SEflhx, and with the lower bags and shocks, I'm wondering if this is a problem (again) -- and has anyone been scraping the bags leaning hard into a turn?  I hate to find out the hard way.  thanks.

I have them on my 2011 SEFLHX and haven't had any issues. Of course, with it being winter I haven't taken any rides through the mountains yet.

thanks, keep me posted.  Did you keep the back shocks, or replace them with 13"?

Hey Wolf........I'm thinkin' you may need to go to a Victory or Honda or maybe even a crotch rocket to avoid that problem.  My 2009 SE Ultra is equiped with the V&H Power duals and noooooooooooooooo problems with them dragging.

My highway pegs mounted on the front crash bars will hit before anything else.   I do need to move them upwards on the crashbars to avoid that problem,  but even then I don't believe the Power duals would hit.

Now,  I'm only 160 pounds and my wife about 130.......so if you (alone) and/or your girlfriend/spouse add up to 325 plus or so..........Maybe (that) is your problem.

By the way,  I can lay it over in the turns if need be........but maybe I'm more conservative than you!

Wow, I've got to agree.  I've got the Power Duals with the 4" V&H basic slippons and have no problems with them scraping on the turns.  I come in right at around 300 and have done my fair share of diving into corners with it....haven't scaped the lowered bags either....you must be really leaning that bad boy over if you can do that...hats off to ya.  :2vrolijk_21:

I kept my stock hydraulic shocks on the bike, I see no reason to change them out.

Yeah, I hate to swap them out === they are nice shocks, unlike the OEM air shocks.  Riding this weekend on a test run highway 49 in Cali -- sharp hair pin turns == good test run.  Thanks
