Called my dealership about ordering or if they had them in stock and they said that Harley has already Changed the # on them. So they must have had a problem and released a second series.  :nixweiss:

No problems, just added an "-10A" suffix like HD does on parts as the year changes.  Still no fog in mine and have had them in some really bad rain. :)

I took a trip in June up to Main and i had issues with the passing lights fogging.  I came back home and I haven't had the problem again?  I live in Michigan, so humidity can't be the problem?  When we took our trip, we had 6 days of mid 70's & no rain, so that can't be the problem?  I'm guessing it has something to do with outside temperature?   It's been summer weather, hot, since I have been back with no issue?  Outside temp/light temp?

Is your dealer warranting these lights for you?  My dealer tells me this isn't a warranty issue.  BS!

My LED Passing Lamps fogged up within the first 30 days. When I had the bike in for 1,000 mile service they changed out the standard "O"Ring for a larger diameter "O" rings and haven't had the problem since....

Would you happen to have the part number for the larger O rings?

Oh heck yea it's a warrenty issue since they already have a new part number for the Black lights. I beleave my dealer said something like 90 days on bought electronics, but for what these things cost and i will be on my 4th set "sence april" when they come in they better keep replacing them till they get it right.

Sorry I cannot help on Part Numbers and Dealer installed......

Recommend you call Josh or Larry @ Sandy's Harley Davidson (231) 924-3020 and they can help you with replacement seal.

I know its an old thread but still an issue.  All these $$$ and replaced the passing lamps once already.  Still moisture in Harley LED headlight and both LED passing lamps.

Guess I will see what Harley will do.  I believe they are out of warranty.  Most likely nothing.  Harley would do nothing before even when they were under warranty.  Explained as normal?   Last time I had to go to JW Speaker and complained and they gave me two new passing lamps.  Those are leaking now!

If the JW Speaker 8700 Evolution will fit I guess I will get that solution for the headlight because the warranty is much longer.

I don't mind the initial investment, its just the product failure that Pi$$es me off!

My passing lamps are fogging up and one dealership noticed this while I was heading to Daytona and asked if I wanted them changed out with only a 30 minute labor charge...I declined and elected to do it once I returned to my home dealership....and now, it seems that they can't decide that it's a warranty item...still 'checking'.  The fun continues.  har.  spyder
