FWIW....
Stock cams in 2011 Electraglide Ultra CVO......
Just did a 1500 mile trip and a bunch of interstate running.... movin' along at 80-90 mph....... with the flow of traffic, of course .... and my mileage was 33.4!
So, dropping in the 555 ..... ehhhhh ..... just waiting for some input from Fullsac for this move.
The laws of physics will not be denied. The faster you ride, the more power it takes, the more fuel you will burn.
The last 103 with Woods 555 cams left my shop at 101 HP. The owner reported 43 MPG on his way home riding 70 mph.
When I slow down and ride 70 I get around 40-45 MPG. Most of the time I ride 80-85 with my three partners in crime.
We all get around 30-35 MPG. Getting good milage is easy. Its as simple as slowing down.
If you like riding 85 MPH, gas is cheap compared to the ticket.
