Thanks to everyone for the great replies........I am having the dealer change the chrome fork lowers to black as well as change out the chrome front crash bar to a black one. (That fugly rear reflector was off that thing as soon as it hit the lift, good eye) I have already sent a few things out to powder coat, (black, of course) and will start the transformation as soon as she gets home, in a few days.  The "photoshopped" picture that I have been using all along, is my bible for where this one is going.

Again, THANK GUYS.......We have all taken this journey together.  Regardless of the color (or bike) any of us have, each one of us has "our baby" and we can each Live AND Learn from one another.  This family of ours has been, and will continue to be....... a source of friendship, great information and help, FROM BROTHER TO BROTHER! Congrats Slot!!! The wait was not in vain. With as much as you have gettin blacked out...are you gonna do anything with the dash piece? The one thing that I thought was outa place on that version was the two-tone dash...I could see if it were all black like mine or even all chrome, but the two-tone is off IMHO. Are there plans to replace it with a black one or black out yours?

I looked it over and didn't really see anything that stood out.  As a matter of fact, I was actually surprised at how good it actually looked.  The service guy who is working on the bike pointed out to me that whoever bled the clutch on the production line, dripped Dot 4 on the tranny case cover (and since it is black painted) it ate through the paint.  They pointed it out to me and said that it was unacceptable and they were ordering a new one.  I have to tell you, my dealer, New Roc HD in New Rochelle NY, will go over that bike with a fine tooth comb and fix or replace anything they find before I do.  AND, if I find something, it will be because they just really missed it.  I have 100% confidence in them.  They are a great dealer and have been great friends to me and my riding group. I will keep everyone posted!
