I do do that sometimes Duane.  Sometimes it seems like the only way to be assured of having an intelligent conversation. :drink:

Personally I like dino oil.  Single weight.  Non detergent.  Does everyone think that's a good choice?

So is this true......

Once you go to non detergent.....you can never go back to detergent

or

Vise versa  :nixweiss:

Brian, if the detergent is younger you can go back; but it'll take you awhile to realize you might want to.  If it's considerably older you're allowed to realize that experience and cleaning power aren't always the same thing so you can switch right away if you have a mind to.  If, however, you're fortunate enough to find two detergents that work really well together you just keep your mouth shut and live happily ever after.

so Don if for some fortunate reason you have..or are able to use the two detergents at the same time that is fine :2vrolijk_21:.....now is the two detergents are too compatible this could present a problem when you are left on the side of the road with a broken crankshaft or rusted up because of no protection

That's true Brian.  There is a risk involved when you mix detergents like that.  The affinity between the detergents might be found to be such that the products no longer interact with the original source.  But it'd be a risk worth taking....  :huepfenlol2:

TC
I'm confused. You get older, grayer maybe even a bit stooped and yet the motorcycles get newer and the women younger. What's your secret ?

Thank you for the lovely compliment...
