  Although they are becoming harder to find in drugstores, Wal-Greens used to sell stick on bi-focals that adhere to the inside of sunglasses and or riding goggles.    All you do is dampen them and place them in the bottom half of the lenses.      They were around 7 bucks from the drugstore or about three times that much at a dive shop.         

A good all around formula for placing a bifocal is 4 mm below the verticle center of the lens. This has almost always worked for me when prescribing without the frame and a good starting point for the stick on bifocals. Its usually documented on the Rx form as 4 below OC.  Doc
