What a fantastic day...  I'd feel very lucky if I could ever participate in such a tour...


A side note...  In the mid 1960's, my father owned and raced D Type Jaguar XKD 536.  This car is currently owned by Dennis Varni of Los Gatos, CA.  Dennis has one of the largest car collections in the country.  He purchased the D type from Bruce Meyer.

Attached is a photo from 1964 of when my father owned the car...  He was 31 at the time.  He turns 78 tomorrow.

Lastly was the Hirsch colletion.  He owns more than eighty antique motorcycles.  Many parked too close to photograph!  These are kept in a two story garage filled to the brim.  For starters though, here is a Segway, done "bagger" style.  Hirsch belongs to the Hamsters.

The tour ended back at the Peterson.  This was in front of the Otis Chandler collection.  He was once the owner of the Los Angeles Times.
