And Bill of all the years that I've been going to Laconia, this one is set for me and the family, and was done far in advance of C.C. if not for that I would be right outside your garage door with my bike running and waiting to roll.
 Again poor timing, and luck..

Hey Mark,

In the small world category, I was getting my haircut and was talking about the incident in Hartford.  Now she and her husband Val ride and we have ridden with them on occasion.  Anyway, as I was re-telling the story she goes Mark?  From the Cape?  Older, distinguished guy? After rolling my eyes... She adds, He rides the same bike you had last year.  I said yeah.  Well, Julie is a secret admirer of yours  :o  :o   :o .  So you also know Joe and Betty up this way?  I have ridden with them once or twice.  Julie thinks you know them.  Did your brother crash up in Laconia last year?

Wow, That's to funny!! ;D Yeah I know Joe and Betty Bernado well, Used to work with Joe for years on Nantucket while he was an electrician, (he did my garage).
Julie and Val friends of Joes, all were up on Hurricane Mt. Road as I blew by the top, they were all in the small lot and saw me and then on the return, they then all came out to catch me, (and because Scott dumped) they did, THANK GOD.. Yeah and I guess it was my fault for letting Scott do that road with us-- to see where we all had to rest our machines to help him was a picture for the ages that didnt get snapped off 10-12 bikes on the strangest grade and corner.. We all had a TREE of SHAME moment then went off from there..
