This is hilarious (but not in a good way).  So Harley already has an unnotated product revision to correct error in a first production run; and still didn't get it right  [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif] .

Only at Hardley Davidson would we consider this an average effort  [smiley=drink.gif] .

No argument here! I'm gonna stuff it in the dash anyway as a tribute. BTW your idea of using reducer cost me about 88 cents. Maybe once Harley figures out the needle ,they will look at the parts count/cost they ,have in this kit. But as I just typed that, I realize that they don't care because the customer (me) has allready paid premium for [highlight]this beta guage kit[/highlight]. I guess they would not fix things until it went in a production model if they could turn more of a buck.Its allmost like the accessory designers never get to see the vehicles and just take the best guess. Just think, were it not for all the dinking around trying to shoehorn the sending unit in the recommended location that 88 cents would actually have saved money.

Like someone alllready said I look at it as more of a discussion. [smiley=drink.gif]I can't take this crap seriously.This site might be large enough to be on HD corporate radar screen. I don't have to remind that CVO is their premium product.Someone might check to see how we the premium customers are getting along. I think they check this stuff. Most likely have internal meetings with graphs and charts and other pictures drawings. The action must be intense. Then finally the action plan. In time a solution. Allright there Donny take it easy and don't get your damn panties in a bunch.If for 1 minute you think that any of my posts in this thread were here to denigrate anyone's point of view,reduce a serious thread down to a joke and all the bitching about a oil temp guage that wasn't the point.Look back at the 14 page 209 responses and then cut and paste all the bullsh!t and post that.
