I agree with h2o-man about the install of this gauge.

Thanks again to Twolanerider for his help in explaining the oil pan install.

My dealer said it was such a great way to do the install they bought several of those brass fittings at a plumbing store and that is the way they plan to do all future installs.

For those interested, that way is very tucked out of the way too and should not snag on speedbumps or other things.(I hope)
After 2 1/2 days of head scratching they decided it was a two hour install process and charged me for that time.
The gauge I got has the step in it and the tail but the needle does NOT light up. It has the same lighting as all the other small gauges.I think it matches well.
When I can get a digital camera I will post pictures because I know,
