I haven't read every post so forgive me if this was stated already.  The new PN for the K&N filter that fits my 2010 FLHXSE was posted in a supplement parts catalog.  Ask the dealer to see their copy and its there.  Mine is on BO until end of April.  Now, if I could only get my wife to get me that GPS/XM gadget for our 5th anniverssary this Saturday  :2vrolijk_21:

K&N has just released the element for the Ventilator A/C as part # HD-0910 on 7/11/11. Same price as the HD part #HD-29400022 $60.00.
Oh yea, by the way it's "not in stock". I smell a RAT.

This is a prime example how valuable this forum is for members. I've been looking for a replacement K&N element & the local (not my selling) dealer says its n/a! I found the part number on here & they had two in stock! Amazing they had it in stock but didn't know what it fit...

I believe the 2011 FLHTCUSE6 already has the "ventilator" intake with the washable K&N filter media.

I don't think so.  The Ventilator air cleaner comes with a non-oiled washable paper element, and it's a pretty good one.  But it isn't the oiled cotton gauze used in a K&N.  I wouldn't throw away the stock element just to install a K&N, but once the original has reached the end of it's useful life a K&N replacement would be my first choice.

My 2011 FLTRUSE came with the white cotton element.  I wound up switching to the K/N filter when I did some engine modifications.  I talked with the builder before I made the choice and he thought it was more a matter of what I liked.  He did not believe it was something I would see much benefit from in the TQ & HP area.  He said the difference between a dyno run with a standard filter and with no filter at all was only a HP or two.  Now from what I've read the K/N filter does provide a longer filtration life before it loosing air flow.  It was for that reason I went to the K&N filter.
