Traded in my 2007 CVO Road King for a 2011.5 CVO Ultra... Zero regrets... Ultra rides like a dream with all the nice bells and whistles.

My first H-D was a 2008 SERK - loved everything about it: color, low-slung style, riding position, handling.  I began to notice though that even on short rides (i.e., less than 100 miles), buffeting from the wind even with the windshield in place was starting to bother me.  (Also, I wanted a bike with a TourPak; by the time I would add this plus some of the other accessories to make the bike more of a long-distance tourer, it would have gotten pricey.)  I got the 2010 SEUG and have never looked back.  Having a full fairing cuts down the wind buffeting making for a much calmer ride.  Plus, the lack of wind in the face adds a couple of weeks on either side of the riding season.  I even notice that my legs do not get as tired as the full fairing prevents the wind from pushing my knees away from the tank.  Last summer, I did a ride of just over 100 miles, hopped off and felt fresh as a daisy (well, a very manly daisy).  I know I would not have felt the same on the Road King.
