Just wanted to introduce myself.  I have to admit that I am not the owner of a CVO.....yet!   I'm currently riding a '10 FLHTK, but am getting closer and closer to pulling the trigger on a CVO Electra Glide.   And also trading in my second bagger (Road King) on a softail convertible for my wife.

I have been enjoying reading the posts here...a lot of great information.  I look forward to learning more every day.

Welcome to the site ... I can't speak to the Electra, but I have a 2011 Soft tail Convertible CVO and can tell you that your wife will love the bike ...this is my 5th bike and 3ed Harley ... of course., it is the best thus far.  I have short legs and do not feel comfortable on the touring bikes, but this CVO softtail is low and feels like a Dyna low and fat boy low ... Features are impressive and it is a "head turner" everywhere I go ... other bikers can't believe that it is a HD factory delivery, they think it is a custome shop buildup ... get her one ... remember, the SE's hold their value for years to come quite well ... regards, ben

Thank you all for the warm welcome.  Southern Rider...your CVO is the color I've had my eye on.   My Limited is the Scarlet Red/Vivid Black....but your's looks MUCH better.   Where in KY are you?  We're from Luavull originally.  My parents now live on Barren River Lake.  We're looking forward to riding in your area this summer...
