They don't make a version for the passing lamps, yet.

Kuryakyn does make a version for the passing lights.  They will be in house sometime in October.  They currently have been taking orders and I am one waiting on the Halo rings for the passing lights.  Go to their website and you will find them listed under lighting.   http://www.kuryakyn.com/Products/4120/LED-Halo-Headlight-Trim-Ring.

I wasn't aware they released the info yet. Thanks for providing an update!  They are already on the list!

I like the idea of the Halo Ring - even if it is mainly cosmetic.
Have decided to fit to my '07 FLHR SE3. Will obviously take some pictures and post in due course.

However I am wondering, does the ring make any future headlamp bulb replacement difficult?

I don't think so. IMHO it must replace the normal chromed ring.

From looking at the fitting instructions it would seem that it fits over the normal chrome ring rather than replacing it. On my RoadKing it would clip into the small groove where the normal chrome ring joins the headlight nacelle with a small screw/nut to tighten it up at the 6 o'clock position.

It fits over the existing ring, and it's a bit of a PITA to get seated. The trick is to peel away the halo light ring from the ring near the seam so you can stretch it over enough to slip it over the existing ring. Then shove it all the way back over the existing ring so the back edge hooks over the existing ring. then press the halo light ring back to seat the adhesive. Imho, they should not seat the halo light ring first.

BTW - It's crucial that you make sure you have your headlamp properly aligned before doing this install, as it will be impossible after as the adjusting screws will be totally blocked!

So I guess that means to adjust the headlight, or change the bulb you need to almost disassemble the whole thing - but hang on a minute aren't the led lights stuck to the inside of the halo ring??!! So even if you undid the nut that acts as a clamp its going to be a right PITA to get off!  :furious3:
