I have noticed that the black on the engine covers gets a "film" that looks like its fading but is easily removed with wash/polish. This is my first bike with this black powdercoat and I think it might be a normal thing.
Personally I am glad I waited for the Krypto, at bikeweek everywhere we would go people would walk around my bike pointing and asking questions.  This is my third streetglide in 2 years, I love this bike!
I am not concerned about paint problems as I am kind of anal about keeping it clean and polished.

All
Thank you VERY much for your inputs - I value them all coming from you the experienced CVO owners.

Now onto the news:

My own love affair is about to take off with the delivery of my very own SESG in Krypto on THIS WEDNESDAY evening!!!!

I went back to my dealer yesterday (Friday), told him I wanted to get a Krypto SESG and he asked if I were ready immediately if they were able to find and trade for one.  Of course I was ready.

He was able to get the trade agreed to by the other dealership and after collecting my earnest money he told me to expect my new ride to be ready for pickup Wednesday.

Many many thanks to Brian and Bobby of Bobby's Territorial Harley Davidson (my "home" dealership) here in Yuma for getting my dream ride
AND
to Chester's Harley Davidson of  Mesa, AZ for being receptive to the trade offer from Bobby's.

I will be posting picks once I get my wheels home.

I do hope everyone will excuse the stupid grin on my face in pictures that include me as I'm sure I will not be able to remove from now till then.

Was just at Woodstock HD in IL. and saw my first Krypto in person.  Cool, Very Cool!  It was not sold at the time I was there.  Lots of lookers though.
Also had a SE Roadglide in the silver/grey, I did not ask if that was sold.

When I first saw the CVO brochure I was struck by the Green SG and could not wait to see it in person. I still never have. What about all that BS about bad luck owning green HD??? ::)

If you are the superstitious sort then it is bad luck , if you are not then it is just plain beautiful!!!! I love my black one , but those greenies are really eye catchers. By the way there are several around at dealerships on
