Trade Nighttrain to Buell Ulysses
« on: March 27, 2011, 03:32:00 AM »

Wifey has almost decided to trade in her 1st Harley, it just sits in the garage relatively unused since she also has a 05 Buell XB9 for commuting to work and an 09 Street Glide for trips.

here is the deal,
Nighttrain trade in price 15000chf (original price 27000chf)
unused 2010 Buell Ulysses XB12X reduced price 10000chf (normal price 17000chf)
she would get a credit at the dealer for 5000chf (for parts accessories or servicing

I use my 09 Ulysses as a daily driver to work and love it :) It's hard to keep the front wheel on the road though  :o tonnes of torque  :huepfenjump3:

My worst purchase of my life was a Buell(it was an 1125R)...
Thought I had to have one after seeing one and it had to be the most uncomfortable riding,ill-est handing bike I was ever on.Way too short a wheelbase and too high a center of gravity made ofr no fun to ride and it was swapped on the V-Rod I own now.The guy who wanted rid of the V-Rod which I have bought my old Buell and he loves it.

So its a taate deal to me and if its what you want, then go for it but I will NEVER own another Buell.

The deal has been agreed as described above except she will take 4500 in cash instead of a dealer credit of 5000.

She is very happy and is already searching for her luggage system for the new Buell and lowers with speakers for her street glide. That money will soon be reinvested in bike parts.
She is doubly happy cus she had already agreed in principle with another dealer to trade for a 06 Buell Ulyesses, which had an aftermarket exhaust and was already kitted out with luggage but had 6000km, tripply happy having been to two other Stealers today (spring open days) who were still wanting 17000 for there Buells

just the exchange of registrations to do later in the week.
