Playtex rubber gloves like your mom used in the kitchen work great, and they're cheap. I won't use them to save my life, but they will keep your gloves dry.

All terrific glove suggestions.  I think I'll check out the Tourmasters - easiest to find.

One more glove suggestion:  Caballas has some gloves made out of the 'wet-suit' material.  Now, water ain't gonna  be a problem for these babies.  :huepfenjump3: har!  :drink: spyder

For effective rain protection just smear Mayo all over you.  Won't soak through.  Honest.  But remember, when you try it:  :worthless:

Wish I could remember what mine's called. ( H-D product )The jacket is fairly heavy and seems like Gortex. Cost is about $150 for the set. Much preferred to the really expensive set H-D sells. IMO

Not being an avid HD advertiser I'm curious if I can find anything WITHOUT the BIG logo  :nixweiss:   :drink:

I swear by my Hein Gerrich's. I have had mine now for 6 years and no probs. And I've driven in a lot of slop.

The only rain gear that has kept me truly dry is the Frogg Toggs Elite Highway.  Not a logo on it and the simple solid black with reflective piping looks sharp as well.  The zippers are really waterproof.  The jacket is even comfortable with short sleeves on under it as it has a light lining that lets your skin breathe while staying dry.  Picked up a set at Myrtle Beach Fall Bikeweek for about $100.  Light years beyond the HD stuff that always seemed to soak me while riding in the rain.
