"...I love the smell of napalm in the morning....it smells like Victory."

MOCO, Willie, and the boys seriously need to take a real close look at Polaris Industries in their rear view mirrors and take note of the following they are beginning to generate.

Well, now.  mrmagloo has forwarded a tongue lashin' for Ol' Hub, from what appears to be from another one of the learn-ed crowd, no less.  Ah, hell, like my Ol' Pappy said, education don't make you smart!  Wow, magloo, you have all the answers to the problems of one of America's oldest Companies, and for those mentally challanged individuals who continue to support it.  What's nutty is, you lay out all the lame reasons in your mind, one should not buy a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle, and then you buy one.  'Nuff said.  You're too smart for me!  Later--HUBBARD

Well I guess I'm of the younger age group on the site "The 30 somethings".I understand what everyone is posting here.In my group of friends there never is any talk of bad paint or this broke or that leaked,if it happens you fix it and move on. I may be naive but I don't think Honda,Victory or polaris hold a candle to the styling of sycle that I like let me say that again as not to offend"I like". For me its a trust issue on wrenching i like to wrench my own ride anyhow ,it brings me closer to my scoot. And like i said in an earlier post as long as yahoos like myself keep buying HD then it will never change or change very slowly. So far this is the only place where I hear alot of complaints on quality and service,i guess it opens my eyes a little bit but my heart still bleeds orange and black. My .02

Last year I bought my 1st Harley, I now have 3 in the garage. I brought my new bike home last SAT and had it in the shop on Fri cuz the nut fell off the exhaust manifold. Ya I could of fixed it myself but why should I.

I agree we are buying a name, but when I buy a new Dell Computer it always have upgrades and changes with out the price increasing to much. When I brought my bagger home the neighbors asked what year it was cuz they all look the same. I named my new bike LEMON even though it's black ;D. But I still sit in the garage on a rainy day [smiley=drink.gif] and thinking what new parts I can add to it.

Yep! We all have our reasons for owning them and have differing opinions as to what's good and what isn't, but we all have one thing in common ..... we own one .... don't we?  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

I have a friend that sells Victory MC at Freedom motorsports in Princeton
W Va he says he did not like selling one to friends because half of them break down before the customer can get home it.

Jerry I think we are saying the same thing just worded differently.I carry the same sentiments as you do.Maybe Hd needs a wake up call like it did 15 years ago. You're right about toyota and its styling changes over the years,I had a Toyota 4x4 P/U you know the small one and now i have a 4Runner.So if someone else wants to clone a HD then let em all it will be is a clone.Be safe Bro.
