Hi Lurker and Fellow CVO owners!
I, too, just yesterday took delivery on a FLTRUSE, mine in Frosted Ivory and Vintage Gold. Dropped the catalyst, installed V+H ovals, race tuner and Dynoed. Installed chrome switches and had a harness that activates the tour pack lights to work with brake and turn signals. Last bike was an '04 Ultra Classic stage 3. I cannot believe the difference in ride and handling! Incredible. I put on 160+ miles and could ride the beauty all day. Yea, it's a heavy bike, but it's a cruiser. Can't wait until she's broke in a little to see how much torque she really has. On a side note: DO NOT try to plug in an Ipod that has a hard drive! In other words, anything over 8 gig memory. The audio system in not compatible, I fried my Ipod classic. e only bitch I have so far is why didn't the just design the system to work with IPods that can carry more songs? The little Ipod Nano holds less than 1500. I have over 8000. I can still use an IOd classic but need to plug it in the Auxiliary and it will only play as long as the battery lasts. The brochure also said the Nano would have a bar and shield logo, but it only has Custom Vehicle Operations engraved on it. Even here in Minnesota where a little heat, especially this time of year, is welcome, that 110 seems to really get hot. Only complaint besides frying my IPod is the hand warmers don't work, another important item for riding this time of year here.
