Its not hard to go 100 mph on these bikes.  I just had mine tuned yesterday, on the ride home I was crusing on the highway admiring how well it ran and looked at the speedo 105 it really didnt feel that fast.  I dont have the need need for speed anymore but it was fun while it lasted.

I have my problems almost always with the speed limit. But 120?   I have no need at all to try that one out.  Let me know what it feels like when someone crashes their bike going that fast.   I'm dying to know :nixweiss:

A guy that was considering riding but wondered if he could do so without falling ask me one day since he knew I'd ridden bikes all my life.  My answer caused him to consider whether he really wanted to take up the 2 wheel sport.  If you ride enough, either off road or on public roads, it's not a matter of IF you are gonna fall, it's just WHEN.  I think you can minimise the chances with good, safe riding habits, but you can not eliminate all the dangers to 100%.  My recent crash was totally unavoidable with anything less than not being on the motorcycle at that particular place & time.  Chit happens beyond your control. Of course, riding at high speeds (over 120mph) can cause the crash/fall to possibly cause more damage than lower speeds.  ??? jmho.   spyder

I would hope that if one of us here on the forum was to attempt these speeds and to exceed 120mph, they'd do it in the most optimum setting.

Either have one of our German brethren do it on the Autobahn or here, maybe out west where you can see for miles and have a good field of vision to the sides for animals and such.

Also, trees, ditches and guard rails can be a nuisance when departing controlled flight.

I'd rather do it in mph and not degrees.

Well on 3 different occasions i decided to open her up and the results where the same. I hit 180 KM, 112 MPH (the Zummo 665 says 177 km) Someone said that riding at these speeds with a batwing is like riding with i piece of ply wood.....i believe him now. All 3 times once i hit 180 KM the bike would just start wobbling. I could not go any faster because the wobble would get worst as the bike picked up speed. Who knows....maybe the air is thicker up here in the great white north. I will be traveling south in 9 days going to Nashville then New Orleans. I will try again just in case the air is different or maybe there is less wind but i really do not think she will go any faster.

Zummo now says 183 KM (114 M) I am sure i seen the speedo closer to 190 KM. Bottom line the bike will not go any faster. I held it there for about 20 seconds before she started to wobble. I have ordered the Fulsac Stage 1 with 2.0 cores. Maybe it will make a difference maybe not. :nixweiss:.
