Out for a Ride in Mt. Carmel, Louisiana. An old Gulf gas station. Look at the pump prices. Can you remember 47 cents per gallon. Check out the old style pump.

Great pictures!  Does anyone notice that all the bikes look "showroom" clean?  I'm happy to see that others are as obsessed as I am with a clean looking bike even on long hauls

Not in the pics I posted above.  We were in the dirt on several occassions Easter weekend so we were all running around with a fine layer of dust on our bikes.    And riding back up through the Nevada desert to home, the front ends were covered in bugs by the time we hit the garage.  But on more than one occassion, at a gas station or some other stop, I've been asked "how do you keep it so clean?".  It's not......it's filthy!
