I know this isn't anything other than an observation, from an Ultra Classic rider (3 different bikes over the past 15 years), but many times with cruise control on, I would ride without hands on the bars, to do up my coat, see how far I could go, you know, kinda foolish kid stuff. I must admit you could not go very far before you had to adjust, either by grabbin a grip or shifting your weight. This is my first Road Glide, so I thought I would give it a go. I was amazed how stable the Glide was, I swear I felt I could do the rest of the trip without hands. This is the most comfortable ride I have ever had on a Harley, and it was fairly windy, and cold. I think this stability is due in part to the frame mounted fairing, the larger rear tire helps, I dunno but it sure is sweet.
