I was down in San diego 2 weeks ago to visit my daughter. I was telling Her that my butt starting to hurt after long hours of riding and She say,s to me Daddy you should get some Booty Pop,s . I asked Her what that was and she said just wait i,ll get u some. Well Kerry and Brandon and the dogs came up and are hanging with us in santa cruz and she gives me these. I told her I can,t wear these and she says why not. I told her they are lady,s pants and she says no one would know .i said but what happens if i get in an accident and taken to hospital and i,m wearing booty pops.   Not saying if i tried them on but they would need an opening in front and have to be a size bigger

What are you sayin', Andy...that you've got a ghetto booty?  And you can always go "over the fence" for the other part(s).

I have more trouble wearing out the covers before the foam.  Both my '08 FLHTCU and my '10  SEUC started tearing at a seam around 30 - 35K.  Dealer says not under warranty - normal wear and tear!

Any suggestions?

I assure you I will replace the foam before buying ladies undergarments.

I have 35000 on the seat and I'm redoing it. The one thing that comes along with bony asses and age is more money. :2vrolijk_21:

Spada84.  I have an '08 SEUltra with 34,000 miles as well.  The seam on the right side of my seat also is splitting, and the dealer told me it was a "wear" item.  I have my doubts.  Maybe there is a bad run of seats.  Have any other members had this problem?  Maybe it isn't isolated.  Have you investigated repairs, etc?

Have not looked into repair as of yet.  Thinking of going along the lines of an Alligator Bob treatment - just more$$.

I'll get a picture posted in the next day or so.

used to have sundowners on my FLHRCIs - around 30.000 m they had to be exchanged, the solo sundowner lasted perhaps a little longer.

Sounds like mu experience. For $250 I can have the whole insides replaced with foam and gel of a higher quality. Since I am tall I have even asked for more loft as the cover will allow.

Are you, sir, implying that I ride to much? :-\          :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2:

Actually, I think you've made a valid point in the life expectancy of a seat.  Not that Harley's ever made a great seat, but Ernie's wore two of em out but he also racks the miles up, so that may lend to your thoughts above.  On the other hand.....while I'm sure he's wore a seat out, I'm not convinced it was a motorcycle seat that he wore out.  Have you ever walked behind him. :nervous:

ride too much?  that's like saying you have too much money or that a motorcycle is too beautiful to ride - I cannot grasp the concept.
