Brian thought you sent those parts off around Thanksgiving?   Would have thought you would have had them by now, many others have already got their stuff back.  :nixweiss:  :nixweiss:

Hoga$m,

Brian you need to back track and figure out where you pi$$ed off the painting gods.   Maybe you need to have a painted part sacrific to appease them as you sure aren't having any luck with painted parts.   Wondering if he is unable to match it and just isn't saying so?    Who knows maybe if your a good Santa will bring them  to you for Christmas we just can't speculate what year  :huepfenlol2:   :huepfenlol2:

Painters that are good are a breed of their own, never met one that wasn't a great guy or confused on FIFO (first in first out).  Sometimes you just have to let time go by and wait for the right moment, that or take your shot with a quick turnaround wannabe painter.   :nixweiss:

Next week is a term usely used and if you decode it it means each time you inquire another week will be added to your job.  :huepfenlol2:

9.9 times out of 10 the wait is worth it, even if you have to keep your cool it is best to do so or you could be sitting with your parts half done and out the money to get them back.   :nervous:

Chains I would tend to agree with you if it were a month or two or even 3, but when 6 plus months + later, I don't necessarily agree any more.   Feel really bad for Brian, just thankful its not my parts.

I had a guy that had my tank and two fenders for 8 months once, missed an entire riding season, but got back a show winning paint job.  I was so frustrated by the ordeal I sold the bike, I just couldn't stand to look at it.

If anyone lives close by they should stop by and see Brians parts, they may be untouched.  I waited a long time for mine around 5 months, did not bother me as it was to do a switch out from leather tourpack to a king .  When mine arrived, UPS busted it so I have a choice to have mine fixed locally by a guy that does cars for Barrett Jackson or send it back.  Looks like I will have to pay the local guy as UPS is probably going to screw me anyhow and I really don't want to wait that long again.  The Barret Jackson guy is sooooo high priced, probably 4 to 5 times a normal good painter but his shop is acrossed from me so I can at least stop by and watch the dust collect on it.
