Friends - I received a call yesterday that my "paperwork" appears to be done.  Apparently, I "may" get a call next week for a start date.  I have to remember I have only been out of work 90 days - and - the national avg is 40 weeks.  So, let's think positive for all looking for work - AND - how about you guys tell me how to manage the right side heat on a CVO?  I'm hoping I can swing a 2012.  But on my 2011 SERG - even after FULLSAC, pipes, Zippers and dyno -- there was so much right side heat, my Aerostich pants melted!! Anyway, looking fwd to getting back with ya'll.  The DOOF

Thinking of you as well as thanking you for your hard work searching for another job. There are way too many people sitting around getting paid by the government.  Here in MI it is terrible and almost a way of life to get paid to stay home.  I like the phraze used earlier in this thread, " One door closes and another opens" Let's hope that your next venture is better than you last.

as the engines get bigger they get hotter - there is NO WAY to get a 110 to be as cool as a shovel - not going to happen

after that

some say that taking the lowers off will help

i put the oil cooler on the right crash bar - that really did help - ugly but its genuinely cooler

or just ride when its cool or raining  <grin>

Said a mouthful there.  My 103 is twice as hot as my 80 EVO.  AT LEAST TWICE, maybe more.  Lots more power & lots more HEAT.  :sauer005: spyder

Not yet....Doc says not to get on a scooter before Sept., but the Huckleberry is almost put back together and I'm feeling better ea. day now.....starting to build up a little strength and I might try to ride some before the end of this month.  I sure need it Harry.  Course, it's been as hot here as down your way, so, I'm looking for a break in this weather also.  (I'll still be hanging back from the big dogs like you & Hub & the gang.  har.)  spyder

My apologies for not getting my update here sooner -- so many of you have been so supportive.  Uncle Sam finally finished the grind of paperwork and I have a start date of MON 24 OCT !!!  I'll be with another organization but will be assigned back to the "good guys" I was with earlier this year.  No more working for the unethical, myopic, criminally negligent butt wipes that put career ahead of warfighter support!!!! Thank you, Thank you for your encouragement and interest -- it made a big difference!!!!

Well i am glad you will be back and doing the job the right way for the troops.  Maybe we can arrange to have some of those "A" holes sent overseas where they can learn to appreciate good as opposed to shoddy work first hand.
