While we were out, Big Ed and the Sparkettes wrote a blues song about the mishap. After the boat ride, and a few shots of bourbon they gave a performance, with an encore performance. Here are the lyrics.

Sounds and looks like the KenFest/RibFest was another roaring success this year Ken.  Sorry I missed it again.  I especially liked the pic of you in your Sunday-go-to-Meeting-Hat in the diner.  When's Big Ed and the Sparkettes gonna take this one on the road again?  har.  spyder

 I was sorry to see the Mississippi so high

 I Remembered what owning an 07 was like
 
 I remembered Four rivers dealership ( they were very nice to us)

Rob May presenting a small token of appreciation to the man, Ken.  Thanks Amigo Jorge for bringing this momento for Ken.  I did not have a chance to take a photo of the back of the sign but it is full of notes of thanks and signatures.  As you can see we filled up the backside and had to use the front.

Ken, Cheri, Big Ed and Trish.  You folks are just the best.  Thanks for such a great event.

The food was great so as far as I can tell it has exceeded expectations!  Of course there were some excellent cooks tending things.  Ken and Big Ed started the fire about 9 am I think.  The the ribs went on at noon.  Rob May stood over the grill all afternoon adjusting the vents so as to maintain the proper temp that Big Ed wanted.  Don't recall when they put the chickens on but everything was done about 5:30 as I recall.
