One less CVO on the road.....RIP Lucille

On the 8th of this month I was hit by a driver charged with DUI.

She managed to not only alter my way of living, she caused enough damage to total out my 2011 CVO, Lucille. When I was finally able to take the ride to see my bike, I was amazed at the amount of damaged she sustained and the fact that I was there looking at her.

I'll miss her, but know that had she not taken the brunt of the damage, I would have.

Be careful out there folks!!

Dang Rick, so sorry to hear that you were nailed on Lucille.  That was 4 days before I got hit on the Huckleberry.  Hope you're doing good and let us hear how what the outcome of the whole deal is with the bike & you.  I hope the driver that hit you is in jail (at the minimum).  ride on safely Gordito.  spyder

Sorry to hear about your accident and the damage to your bike. Glad to hear you are on the mend! Hardware can be replaced, human lives can't. Rather have the bike totaled then you. Heal quickly!
