your were just outside Springfield and you didnt call me?

yeah..... sorry about that.  Missing the locals up your way came up in a thread a couple of weeks ago.  I'd apologized there that it was just a very quick one night stopover to see a dear old friend who I'd not seen for way too long.  There just wasn't time to do much more.  When the weather slowed me up a bit the time crunch those first few days got even tighter.

Some of you New Englanders will be heading to Cripple Creek and most of the rest will be at Maggie Valley though.  So we'll all get a chance to see each other then.

Spider, we just have to remember that our brains are in our butts and that, after awhile, they'll just go numb.  Once you get to that point it gets sooooooooooooo much easier ;D .

Ditto for my sentiments!  I would have stopped after 5 freaking hours in the pain!

Don,
Guess your done with the tire chit.. thise one you'll have to tear off the last remaining cords- due to unbelievable rain wear!! Mine all seem to be sheetrock screws that I pick-up- and both times the rear and both less than 800 miles on them..
I hung em up in the garage. Why- I have no idea!
May your way be bight, warm, bug free, and just plain fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Toorain,

Sorry you couldn't make it. The missus and I would have enjoyed your company. Glad to hear you are back underway. Maybe we'll run into you in Myrtle Beach, we are leaving in the morning at 8:00 am and are staying somewhere in Surfside.

Don (Twolane), your apologies are accepted.  No problem.  You missed a great party that  Hubbard, Shrader and myself planned in your honor.  We had steaks on the grill, plenty of Crown Royal, a lot of cold Bud, a Rock and Roll band, and over 20 single women!  You apology accepted again.  No problem.
