The idiot in the PU spent more time driving over the double yellow than the guys on the bikes. That moron should be taken off the road and prosecuted. I'm not saying what the sportbike rider did was in any way right but the PU driver went way too far and could easily have killed someone coming in the other direction around some of those blind curves.

I don't know about that one Dan.  One guy broke some traffic laws, the other guy tried to kill him.  I don't see that as equal.

Road rage can't be justified no matter how many times some biker may have strafed this guy in the past.  And anyone who lets the fact that someone passed them pizz them off this much has some very serious mental issues that need to be addressed.  This is the sort of guy you just might see on the evening news someday after gunning down some innocent school kids or a bunch of coworkers.

All that riding gear and helmets on both riders ...... i don't understand why the truck driver didn't get a lesson in manners.

An idiot like this is not worth going to jail over, plus, you never know what else the guy had in the truck besides a tire iron (and it was mighty handy).  He did have a 4 wheeler in the back of the truck, which indicates he just might be a hunter with big azzed guns in the cab of the truck.

It appears the truck driver is really pizzed because he has not been able to graduate from 4 wheels to two wheels.

He really needs to be knee capped

We are seeing more and more of this. I would have been afraid to stop in front of the guy like the biker did. Who says the assault is over?

I would like to know when pulling a pistol in self defense is allowable? After the crash or before?

We had close calls in KY this weekend with cars squeezing in between the bikes trying to pass.

I can tell you that when someone runs you off of the road and you catch up to them and stick the barrel of a gun into their face while traveling down the road....you will get a trip 'downtown' to 'splain your actions.  :-X spyder

We had close calls in KY this weekend with cars squeezing in between the bikes trying to pass.

As a general rule any "deadly force" would have to be justified in a self defense situation. In that the perpetrator had the means and ability to cause serious bodily harm to you or others. And in some states the victim had no other recourse than to use deadly force to stop the aggression.
So you couldn't shoot someone for being stupid or careless.(If so the roads would be littered with them.) You would have to convince a judge or jury you had no choice to defend yourself and that the suspect couldn't be stopped any other way.
So to help answer your above question, before the crash if it can be proven that the driver saw you and deliberately was aiming for you or another with the intent to cause harm. A car is deadly force.....You still have to consider what would happen with that car if the driver was shot, would it run into other bikes or cars and hurt an innocent?

After a crash you probably wouldn't be justified in your use of deadly force unless the driver was aiming for someone else or returning to finish you off. A court would look at it as "does the suspect still pose an imminent danger to someone or is the threat over with?"

Well crap I guess I better unload. :huepfenlol2:

One point I would like to make then is, a car is just as lethal as a gun but only a gun will get you to the courtroom to "explain" yourself.

In the above video the second biker filming could have shot and killed the driver while he was still following the first biker claiming that the truck driver was continuing the assault attempting to finish the murder that he attempted. Hell he had video proof. All hypothetically of course. :P

The PU driver needs to be paid a visit by some of the boys.  The end results of which should mean he never wants to screw around with any bikers again. :nervous:

Another case of the only reason some people are alive is that is against the law to shoot them.  I would have enjoyed it soooooo much more if the two bikers had beat him within an inch of his life.  He tried to kill the biker, what does someone have to do to get his azz kicked.
