O.K., Now after all the disscusion on the oil filters has any one changed their minds on which they will use or even consider ?? I'm leaning more towards the Amsoil Absolute efficiency filter.. Harleys filter is still a big choice. The Wix and CARQUEST possible..  Thanks for all the input as I did learn more about the filters...  Lou

Well when I went to start and check for leaks I noticed how quiet the motor sounded, no vave train, cam chain noise, or very little at that. Sounded great. Rode for about 200 miles and great.

Still wondering why the oil filter would make it motor run quieter. :nixweiss:

I can't answer that. I don't know.. Wix never replied to e-mail.. My guess better oil flow..  The best filter ??

Do you know if your oil temperatures changed at all?

I wanna think it did, or maybe engine felt cooler ? No temp gauge to back anything up. I wanna say I believe oil pressure is up alittle, rideing at about 2300 RPM 6 gear pressure is over the 32psi mark.. Before diddn't pay as close attention..
