You know, I got to thinkin' about this.  Don't need to put a rainbow on it.  With that bike's paint scheme, all the pinstriper needs to do is add a pink, orange, green and maybe a yellow stripe to the flame pattern!

You know, we're all joking around about this, and I certainly wouldn't want to ruin someones paint, not even Chips, so how about getting a painter to put it on with water based paint that would wash off?

Captain’s Log | 06.08.2011

Since the bike is having “is that it” issues addressed I am being a tourist in San Francisco.  This is not the first time I have been here but it is like a number of cities that I enjoy taking in the sights!  The day started early as I am still on east coast time for my wake up.

I decided to take in a tour bus since it would refresh my memory of a number of displays and get me around the city.  There are a number of options here…










Coilt Tower…built in honor of the fire fighters





Here is the city’s motto on the Fog City Diner…









Tower on the Ferry Building…by the way you will see plenty of electrical wires in the pics due to the city’s transit system in electrical power…by the way…+50% of the land we are riding on is landfill…









The Bay Bridge…San Francisco side…











While you can not see it these are all sewing machines…





At Union Square you can spend all of your money if you chose to do so…





If I remember correctly this was the “sugar daddy’s” wife of 25+ years younger than him statue…could be wrong on this one…either way…lucky guy and fortunate gal…located at Union Square…

As you may know San Francisco is known for it’s art…one of the many examples of it…








In the event you can not see it…a lady laying down on top of the building…





You can imagine what type of art is located in this building…remember some of the ones highlighted…I will leave that one alone…but your tax dollars at work…

One of the many large churches here…Joe and Marilyn wanted to be married here but it had to be conducted at City Hill because they were both divorced…





At this church you can have your pets blessed once a year…a very long line to have this performed…








I believe this may be Nob Hill…





Some of the pretty flowers and of course a Giants Fan….They were in town playing…





You may already know what is one of the more famous elements of this street…





What is a trip to this area without seeing the World Famous….Hey it’s cheaper than Sea World and more fun too!

You know this one…the Golden Gate Bridge…with some London Fog!  That would be Bay Area Fog!

Well…I must admit I enjoyed an Hawaiian micro-brew there earlier in the week…





If you want to spend all day waiting to ride a cable car you can start here…or just go up the street a couple of blocks and jump on the open third car…some folks where waiting well over an hour…







Did I tell you that U2 was in town…”Where the streets have no names”…I know this one did…but…





If you did not spend enough money on your U2 tickets and are still seeking some entertainment…here you go…dinner and an event…think Medieval Times on a different subject matter…cost $150 per person…
