Sorry for the delay in answering your question. I am presently on a long bike trip so I hadn't checked the site.
Well I didn't change the pistons on my bike but I did have a polymer coating put on them. Here is who did it and one can read about the effect of a polymer coating:
www.polydyn.comThe cost wasn't that much either. I think around $100. They also worked on my heads which was one of the reasons I got such good numbers.
Also, yes I did replace the valve springs and put in adjustable push rods.
I will be going into Canada tomorrow on the Convertible and by the time I get back home I will have logged around 5,000 miles on the beauty.
So far she's running great and my wife and I are having the time of our lives.
