Jet Hot Coating Header Pipe
« on: June 26, 2011, 08:46:21 AM »

Has anyone sent their stock header pipes for the inside and out Jet Hot coating process? I've used this on factory manifolds on V8 S10 projects with good results. Thinking of doing it with my flhtcuse along with removing the python slipons and re-installing factory slip ons with fullsac baffles. The Jet Hot coated header pipe should definitely help in cutting down on the radiated heat and also improve exhaust scavenging. Just wanted to see if anyone has tried it.

Had mine done back in 09 still looks great and I feel it did cut down the heat some.
Had it coated with extreme sterling coating.

Had mine done in O9 also. they have not changed color at all. Still silver. I think they run cooler, wife does not. She says they are hot. But her hot may be less hot than not having been coated. I'd do it again though.

Head pipes inside and out.
Don't think it does anything to reduce heat. But it may be the pipes, D&D Fat Cats.
Absolutely the hottest pipes I have ever used.

On the plus side, pipes are still the same color since day 1.
