you should be able to get that fixed!  the dent has no creases, should be able to be repaired without damaging paint.  go to a reputable ding repair shop.
The paints cracked & it wont pdr with the crease running down it.

So TwoLane...... Thanks for the info.

I dont know if a painter can fix......

Very irritated tho......
Any news yet?
Did the company video help?
Find any paint deposits?

AZ Sparky...

Company video did not sweep to that part of parking lot as it was only intended to see entries and exits.  However, based on my issue and coupled with three others this year, they are going to put in an improved system with full sweep capability.

I checked for deposits and it is not clear.  Looks more like an abrasion on the clearcoat of fender.  I went around checking bumper height and found around 6 possibilities.  I am making a ton of noise, hopefully something will bubble up.

In the mean time, Insurance+$500 deductable+8 weeks will solve!  I wish the Company would consider putting some cash on the deductable..... that might be a stretch.

Will order a fender by tomorrow.

Oh well, it is only a object...... and I was not in the saddle.  So, considering that I am lucky

Looks like it was hit hard enough for the siren to go off.....does your pager 'reach' from the bike to where you actually spend your working hours?

Back in '06 my Sporty got knocked over at a mall...pager went off, ran outside...no-one in sight that was moving....siren blaring...no-one saw a thing....even the old lady reading the paper that was 20' away when I went in the mall....luckily no paint was harmed, just bolt-on stuff.

Pager?

The alarm siren goes off but.......   I guess like any other parking lot, everyone hears and no one reacts.  I did not hear it.

Anyways.......I have one of each (well, mine and the Wife's)...The battery powered on needs a battery once a year...the rechargeable on seems to last at least a month on a charge.

The one pic'd below does seem to have better range than the rechargeable.

I Agree!   Shouldn't need alarms and pagers etc.....but society has way to many degenerates.

I'll bet you she didn't even know she hit you as she was backing up her big SUV with her cell phone stuck to her ear. Nowadays I'm more fearful in shopping center parking lots than on the road!!
Sucks big time, but life is always throwing this kind of stuff at us. You'll feel much better after the repair.

Just came across this post.

NOW I'M PISSED!

Good luck! If you find the culprit you should make it memorable for them.

Did your insurance run this under collision or comp.

Seems to me it's vandalism not a wreck..

Always carry a low deductible on Comp it's rarely used and
doesn't cause big premium jumps...

that way someone takes a key to the paint, you'd be out of pocket very
little..
