Fulsac Stage 1 Installed and Running great!
« on: June 30, 2011, 09:24:14 PM »

I can say my heat issue has been considerably reduced with the Fullsac Stage 1 Sleeper Kit. Dad pulled the pipes, followed the directions for baffle removal, put on the new header and I showed up and finished with the TTS Mastertune and map that was emailed to me.  My only difficulty was that it would not download from the ECM, read the help page, and realized the my handlebar switch was in the off position. Flipped the switch and all is good. Took about 5 minutes and I was on the road. I took her out and put about 100 miles on her in 90+ temperatures and traffic and could really tell a difference in the heat on my right calf and thigh.  I love the sound of the 1-3/4" baffles. Nice rumble, not too loud, and people can ride behind me without getting a headache.
I am so fortunate to have found the cvoharley.com site! I researched a lot and found some great information and feel I made a great informed decision that worked for me. :pepper:
THIS SITE ROCKS!!!! Thanks for all the help!

Great choice. Aren't Steve and the gang great to deal with? So.. when will we see you upgrade your cams and gearing? Steve can be a huge help with those as well. I did the stage one right away on mine last winter. What a difference. Then bumped into Steve down at the Laughlin River Run and he talked me into the 30T gearing change. Steve was right again, another huge difference. Then of course I was back here on the site seeing and reading about the different cam choices, so I got on the phone with Steve again, and now I have the Wood 555 cam set up. I'm really enjoying all those upgrades on mine. Congrats on yours!! :2vrolijk_21:

Steve G. and friends ride much the same way I do, over much the same territory, We let HIM do the R&D and spend all the $$$ to figure out what works best for him, then we "Leech" onto his parts, tunes, etc, etc.!! LOL
Works for most of us in this part of the country......Never had an issue with any of the bikes we used these products on. Parts and results are as advertised!

Thanks for the update Kim.

I ordered mine yesterday. Thank you Steve and Alice for taking the time to answer all my questions before i placed my order.

Bucknut.....I know we had a good 45 min. phone conversation on the baffles.....I went with the 2.0 cores.

Can't say enough about Steve. Bike is totally different with X pipe and TTS. Next step is 2.0 cores and if I can sneak it by the wife ( sound wise), then I'm going to sneak in that Stage II. Bike starts better, no sense of strain on the starter, FBW doesn't seem so touchy, and the speedo is now right on. Thanks Steve for all your patience.

I also Just install the 2" baffles the x pipe and the TTS. MY bike runs nice. Thanks for all the posts. Everone at Fullsac is the best. I want to do the cams and the gearing as well. Someday soon. I only have 650 miles on my bike so far.
