JC, can't see the photos. Is there something I am doing wrong? Always look forward to your photos!

I know what happened in the Corbin Appreciation thread and I'm about to fix that.  In that case, nobody can see the pics except for me.

But in this thread, not sure why you can't see it.....everybody else seems to be viewing them. :nixweiss:

When I posted them I was at work and I posted them in "large" format.  They looked fine.   But looking at them here at home, I notice the right side is cut off.....even if I scroll over to the right.  So going forward I'll always post in Medium format. :2vrolijk_21:

JC...glad to see that your more pleased with the results from your photography efforts.  You've got some beautiful places to shoot in your state...I envy you.  It's always difficult to leave a lens at home that you might need.  It's even worse when you're packing one bike for two people...most of the time, I can't even bring my "big" camera, so make do with the Canon G10.  But, I'm determined to figure out a way to take the body and at least my 16-85 VR with a filter or two.  Is your lens hood one of the bayonett types?  If so, you can reverse it for storage on the lens and it doesn't take up any more room than the lens.

An alternative is to look around on-line and see if you can pick up a Nikon 18-200 VR lens either new or used.  It's probably the most versitile lens Nikon makes, and is a great one lens solution for traveling.

At any rate, the colors and contrast of your images now are much improved!

In case you were mildly curious about this humble abode, the Butterfly house.....it's available for the paltry sum of just a tad bit over $19 mil.

And, if you're like me and curious what the inside of a home like this would look like.......here's a slide show....  http://www.myfgtour.com/ButterflyHouse/

Go just a few hundred miles south to La Jolla Farms in San Diego and your $19M will get you "The Razor"!

Less than half of the original asking price of $39M. Guess CA real estate prices have taken a dip. Used to live just up the coast in La Costa so I have a tendency to watch properties out there just in case we win the lottery. Unfortunately, he's got a couple of BMW scooters parked in the 8 car garage. Those would have to go!
