Again, thanks for all the prayers and kind words, Fingers crossed again, Stanford U. wants to try and shrink the tumors in brain and if I react to radiation, they said they will consider giving me the promising new drug, Hope I'm not jinxing myself by sayin this again?.

first 5 days of chemo over, although sick for 8 from it, they say its to improve quality of life at this point, I dont see where throwing up relentlessly for 7-8 days improves anything, but now get a break till the end of the month from that. Started radiation yesterday on my brain, so I hope i dont forget my password to get back on here :-) Thanks for all the prayers, if they can shrink the tumors on my brain, they said they will try and get me back on the list for the new melanoma super drug program down the road. Puttin up a fight, but I see why some just give up, this is hard to say the least. I see little kids and babies at Stanford with cancer, breaks my heart, and wonder how hard it must be for them to do MRI's and the radiation etc. when they have to lock them so they dont move at all. I'm a lucky parent to not to have had to experience any of that,.....counting my blessings here.

Mike...I assume you live in CA?  Have you considered getting a script for medical pot?  It's legal there, and it really, really helps with the nausea, appetite, and some of the pain.  None of my business, but just throwing it out there as a viable solution for some of the side effects.  I have personally witnessed it helping.  Whatever you decide to do, I wish you and your family all the best.  Keep your strength up as best you can.
