My gal told me we got the bike back from the shop today so I called him up. Said they replaced the wiring and that the rear cyl head oil leak was caused by the other shop installing the big suck air cleaner base. Oil was migrating along the fins and dripping off the back. So far this shop has tried to win my business with picking the bike up, doing the work, washing it and then taking it back home (50 mile round trip). I won't say it will always remain my shop of choice but they are starting out on a great note and Damon (shop lead) seems to care about his customers. If you're in SE Idaho then check out Grand Teton HD in Idaho Falls. Shameless plug for them I reckon but hey praise in public, admonish in private. Which leads me to the statement that unless I'm broke down, I'll never return to the place where I bought mine at. No names at this time until I resolve other things but it's a big shop in Western Idaho.
