Day 8 from Anne:

WOW-2800 miles under our belt(s) Ending up for the night(even if it doesn't get dark)atNORTHWAY MOTOR IINN in DEASE (like "geese") LAKE. In-less the $$$ runs out first we will continue to seek lodging. (camping just sounds sooo wet!! Today really felt like we were bound for ALASKA. We left behind the rural soft rolling hills (most of the barns too) and became enveloped by tough jagged, humongous rocky mountains. Not realizing this at first because of the low lying clouds (think Tetons)we were blown away when they would poke through! Single-lane wooden bridges, rushing glacial waters, lake after lake and even SIX yes 6 brown bears(all in separate locations) munching on root flowers and berries.I'll leave the rest to photos (JC we tried to take some pic's to explain my little nest. Quite cozy. Love you guys, Annie
