That is when our $750.00 GARMIN 660 GPS (global positioning system) spread wings when we were not looking-later to be found in the middle of a six lane road HURRAY-not! Unfortunately it had been run over cracking its cover plate TOTALED!!
We were going down the road after leaving the HD Dealer in Salinas when I caught a glimpse out of the corner of my eye of the Garmin 660 falling out of its cradle. I quickly reached for it and luckily caught it on the outside of my left calf. For such an expensive and
important directional device you'd think Garmin could have a better design to ensure it's put in the cradle correctly and that it stays where it needs to be. I'm always concerned now that I'm going to lose it because I don't have faith in how it gets locked in.
I think I read a post on the forum where somebody else's Garmin 660 fell out of the cradle onto the highway and Garmin replaced it.

Don't want to hijack the thread with this issue.
Looks like Chris and Anne are sure on a great adventure.

I like the wildlife pics.
