AUXILIARY LIGHTS INSTALLED NEED HELP WITH GRAY WIRE
« on: July 16, 2011, 04:45:08 PM »

Bought the HD aux light kit for my 2011 CVO strret glide and I cant figure out how to connect the grey wires coming from the lights so they work with the spot light switch.  It appears the wires from the switch dont connect to anything either.  Any help would be appreciated as soon as possible

IIRC, there was a thread here or in the SESG/SESG2 forum about a dealer install or DIY install and the SESG2 doesn't have the gray wire for passing lamps found on other Touring models.

Post #4 in this thread shows the "fairing harness" on your bike; it doesn't show wiring for a "spot" switch that would control passing lamps.

Hope you figure it out.

Thanks to David G for his technical help, his explanation was right on and my lights now work like they were factory installed.
