No CAN bus in the touring models yet!   :bananarock:

I'm glad I got my CVO Ultra this year and didn't wait.  I don't like the colors they show

Was surprised by that also.  Was added to a model line but not the touring models.  Uncharacteristically for Harley it was  "new thing" (to them) that you didn't hear of a lot of problems with in its initial roll out.  Whenever it gets to touring models they'll finally be in the platform that can get the most gain from the system and for which they could use the system to add the most new bells and whistles to the bikes.

Kinda like the paint on the ultras.  All the other models ranged from "okay" to "yuck"   :confused5:

That's really the only acceptable paint job on the Road Glides. I don't care for the rest at all. I also don't care for the skulls. Looks like HD tried to modernize, black out and move towards "bad-azz" with the CVO RG. My recommendation - kill the Skulls and bring back the EAGLE!

Btw, these new models (RGs) will look pretty silly with the add-on tourpaks unless folks put on chopped paks but those won't fit the bill for hauling chit around the country.

In reviewing the About.com link and comparing the CVO Road Glide and CVO Street Glide, I find it amazing that they didn't put the 400W Amp and Saddlebag speakers on the Road Glide, like the SG.

Always nice to see new CVOs . . . for 2012.

But, makes me sure now that I am holding out for 2013 . . . hoping for a 110th Anniversary SERK!  Should be, since they skipped the RK this year.  And, wow, if it was in the Krypto color . . . I will be on that one.  We'll, my 03 SERK will be 10 years old next July . . . definitely time to add a second SERK to my budding stable then!

Hope you all planning a 2012 CVO find one you really like . . . that maple color is interesting.

Well, they can't make everyone happy. That's why they have upgrades. I like the coloring of the 2012 CVO Street Glide, the featured orange on the HD website (not sure why they don't show that version under paint & wheels link). Of the RGs, I think the Maple is probably the most interesting and suits the attempt by the MoCo to pull off a black-out design. - Just drop an extra $2k for new saddlebag lids, paint for lids, speakers and 400w amplifier and I could ride a Maple around town and feel good about it :)

Then again I have my Project Bike to ride around town to show off.

Also looks like they dressed up the ugly black backing plate of the HB.  Still cant believe they dont offer that piece in a $250 chrome part.

It is an allowable attachment but if I remember correctly the file was 4.3MB which is to large of a file to attach here. Maybe someone that downloaded it can email it to you.
