I’ve managed to get in 16k miles this season (personal best) running the smaller circulator passenger pad instead of the larger one, on top of a 2010 OE SESG seat. Late this year I hammered out a 2,600+ mile run to NC and back over a long weekend with my trusty circulator pad; not to be confused with a max iPad, which I have yet to try.
I wanted to get a sense for the challenge of completing a Bun-Burner gold; 1,500 in 24. I managed the 1,300 miles home from NC in 18.75 hours; on pace for 1,500 in 22. I thought that it would be grueling, it wasn’t bad. I did learn that it is necessary to pack a variety of interesting things to eat on the road. All I had were protein bars, which I was thoroughly sick of by late afternoon; thank God for the Ham & Cheese sandwiches available at most gas stops.
