If they keep adding speakers you may not here the pipes!

Lol....CFR's fix that.....and yes I'm partial to them =)
If the speakers don't protrude very far into the sidebag, for me personally it would be no issue. I find that either I have extra room to varying degrees...or I'm so dam full a detachable tourpack is my answer anyhow. My wife likes tunes and I spent a lot of money on the J & M upgrade on our Ultra. I was immediately impressed by my 2011 street glide in both sound quality and how it compared to the Ultra's upgrade. To me the SG's sound system sounds better. I can't imagine what this years would be like and am highly interested in the bike if only for that. Here's a link you may or may not have read that focuses a bit on the 400 watt system...
http://www.nationalpost.com/cars/Preview+2012+Harley+Davidson+Street+Glide/5133231/story.htmlI like the chrome caps on the tank as well, especially on the fuel gauge. Chrome is far more durable than paint and this cap comes on and off constantly, and although I'm used to taking swirls out of the clear coat on both bikes with the Glare products, any little bit of avoidance helps. I also really like the chrome upgrades all around. Yes the black pieces on my SG look good as well, but I also have the blacked out Ultra from 2010 so, for me and my other bagger, the more chrome the better =)
I'll have to confess something here about the Black Ice paint though on my 2011 SG, I think it's kinda shoddy /shrug. To me the metal flake on my Ultra is far more, how should I say....intricate and hidden ? When you look at it it's suspended and three dimensional in the paint, on my SG it's like it's just there, almost like it's just coarse dull specks all over my paint, it doesn't really pop or glimmer much at all even in sunlight. Just my take on it. I was hoping the black on the 2012 was of a different variety. Who knows, maybe it was a quality issue last year and this years is better.
The one thing I'm really not sure I like on the 2012 though is the seat set up. I'm wondering how the pillion attaches and if it's as stable on the bike as a one piece would be for the passenger. Also, if you do take it off when you're solo, how is the clear on the paint under it going to not be constantly in need of buffing out as well. Don't get me wrong, I like the idea, just not sure about the application, and as mentioned before, a backrest for me anymore is a must. I'm not big and fat, but it's one of those things that once your used to it, riding without it plain sucks. I don't see a slit in the seat as far as I can tell that indicates you can use one.
I personally think HD has done a pretty decent job three years running now on the SG's, steady improvements on a pretty nice bike to begin with, and all three years have bikes I like the paint jobs on. Two the first year, three last year, and maybe all three this year but two for sure. The Black one and the Citrus one I think are going to be lookers for sure !!! Granted you can have most if not all of these things modded to your existing SG if you have one, but if you don't and this is your first CVO SG, I think you'll be very happy to say the least. Nice bikes indeed
