Assuming my dealer has better luck finding me a 2012 Slate/Black SG then they did finding me a 2011 Crimson/Black SG.  But in all fairness, I didn't decide to get a SG until April of this year, and did pick the one color everyone seemed to be looking for, at least up here in the North East.  Could of gotten any of the other 3 colors.  Hopefully, with my dealer knowing what I want the day they come out they will be able to get me one.



I'm sure you can change your name here without loosing any of your history...  To avoid the name change in the future, how about "NorEaster" as your new handle?


That's sure is a real beauty you have on order.  I hope you get it sooner rather than later.

Thanks Fired00d.  And you are correct Grizzly, this is a great site and a great group of people.  NorEaster is a good one, I will see if that is available.

I will be sure to chose my next name more carefully and insure it is not tied to the CVO I currently own.  Because while I can be sure they will always be CVOs, "Once you go CVO, You can never go back", I cannot count on them staying the same. ;D

My thoughts on the 12's vs. the 11"s:

I like my contrast chrome wheels better
I like my black console better
I like my painted cowbells better than chrome ones
I like their new brake speed sensor better
I like their new 400 watt stereo better but not sure about the saddlebag speakers
The gauges shown in the pictures are no different than on the 11's-----diamond cut is a trim ring HD sells and not shown on that bike.
# 8 is a road glide not a street glide
The seat doesn't matter to me because I ride a mustang anyway and would on a new one if  I had it. Also it does not affect the use of the sissy bar as someone asked.

All in all other than  the more powerful radio I am happier with my 11---------that is about the only thing that really trips my trigger.

Wait till ya see his eyes and toothes... LOL and he is runnin on 600 LEDs.. someday .. Im gonna put  up some pics .. Get a BOTTLE and have a drink ... YEOW..Hard to get pic on garage floor with the shine on it .. At least it isnt pink concrete .. LOL   ... but it do lite up .. Jus sayin   :coolblue: :cucumber:

Sure , I can turn em off or put em in a few different effects by remote .. It is awesome at night .. especially with gauges and stereo lit up green as well .. But im thinkin it is stainin my garage floor green ... LOL  :cucumber: :coolblue:
