So, what happened to the idea that four (or at least three) new models were picked for the CVOs?  So, there is one model from the Softail line and three from touring...  No Dynas?  What about a CVO Trike?  Or a CVO Softail Deluxe?  Or even a CVO Sportster?  I know H-D trades on tradition, but the same four models three years in a row?  No imagination.  Hard to get excited for a new model year when all they do is change the paint jobs and add a feature here and there.  ZZZzzzzzzz.......

Maybe a great argument for a 2013 110th Anniversary surprise for next summer.

Does anybody know the part numbers for the BOOM! Bass Booster Ports located in the Tour-Pak trunk bottom liner on the new FLHTCUSE7?

I think this port kit came out in 2010. Here is the link http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/gma_product.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524448775823&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302290635&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=2534374302290635&locale=en_US&bmUID=1311439376868&bmLocale=en_US and the part number is 76418-06A.  Hope this helps.

None of us knows . . . we can only dream . . . but the 03 100th Anniversary SERK got the 103 engine, gold leaf badging, and a mini-tach on a Road King . . . we can dream for about a year now for another engine leap on an anniversary SERK . . . since there has not been a SERK CVO since 2008 . . . but with another anniversary  engine upgrade like in 03 . . . a 120 cubes in a 2013 110th anniversary SERK maybe?!?!  :huepfenjump3:

Oh yeah, how does that old song go?  "I like dreamin', because dreamin' can make you mine! . . . "

If you really want a 120, Harley can help you now as we all know about the 120R...but did you know that Harley now offers for 2012 a 120RX (over 145 rear wheel horsepower...check out page 49 of the new 2012 Screaming Eagle Catalogue)! Oh...for race application only....riiiiiiiiight!

Everything we buy today whether it be Harley-Davidson motorcycles or toasters comes to the marketplace as the result of extensive market research. What you see offered is what the survey's say we want. Now the surveys I've seen seem not to be interested in what I think so much as what I think about what they want me to think about. Not to make a pun, but it's Hogwash pure and simple. They make a SEUC every year because the UC is the most popular bagger model in non CVO trim. As noted here, buying a Road Glide Ultra-limited was pretty close to buying a SERG for 2010 so I suspect that sales were down on the 2010 SERG- - maybe not but the point is they have four platforms (frames) FL, FX, XL and V-Rod. Everything rises from those four roots. It doesn't take a genius to see that with such a limited base, there's only so much they can do. Add in the myriad of changes made in 2009 and what's left ? Bottom line is until we see a water buffalo with it's own base frame things are gonna continue as is for some time so long as we keep buying what they offer. You want change ? Quit buying what they offer. Look at the auto industry. People got tired of the Pontiac, Plymouth and Saturn and stopped buying them. Result ? No more Pontiac, Plymouth of Saturn. We hold the power people. Ride what you've got, force the MoCo to change by bringing them to their knees on sales. It's really as simple as that.

I've been saying that for years! That is the reason I still have my 06. If you don't buy they will change, but I hear people on this
board do nothing but complain, and what do they do?? GO OUT AND BUY ANOTHER!!!!!

At the risk of being a fanboy... I think the CVOs have consistently been a home run, apart from one model (FXDFSE/2) and a few color combos each year.  Quality and execution is great, considering a somewhat limited product line.

I see no reason to withhold my wallet; I like most of the lineup each year.

Time for a "What SHOULD the CVO lineup be for 2013-2020?" thread.  Preferences will be recycles and unviable choices.  What else is there?  The only current mistake seems to be the third-verse FLSTSE3 in regurged '10 colors.
