Apples to oranges trying to compare different dyno results on different dyno's on different days with different weather and elevation.

I've always wondered about how the numbers relate to speed. In drag racing, it's all about et/speed.
Has ANYONE ever taken his/her bike to the drag strip STOCK, done 10 run, and use that for a base
then modified the bike? Then do the same 10 runs to get an average, and compare. Are you gaining
a second, two seconds, or are we talking tenths, or hundredth? Oh, and to be fair, run the bike under
the same weather conditions, wind, temp, humidity.

Using the 1/4th is just as difficult to judge.

The dyno should be used purely as a diagnostic tool.  You can get your AF dialed in and make sure nothing is messed up.  Otherwise comparing dyno numbers is purely an ego exercise.
