NEW Heavy Breather Throttle Body Cover (Chrome or Black)

The new 2012 SERG is carrying a Heavy Breather Air Cleaner with a new throttle Body cover.  They retrofit back to '08 Tourings.  So, if your running the black wrinkle paint plate like Greg, or none like me or the Kury wing thing, there's another option out there now.

DOH!!!!!!!   Of  Course there is, just had the black one installed 2 months ago :'( :'( :'( :'(  Does look purty doesn't it.

So, I've not heard from DHD about my order and stopped in today.  It's on back order until August 19th.  Then the counterman say's that funny, all the chrome parts ordered are on back order until August 19th.  So, what's up?  Everybody order one? (I ordered mine before I posted the thread)

Hi Jacques,  Just from looking, I would say, "no."  I have one on order and should get it today.  I'll have a better answer for you then but the book says it's for the Heavy Breather.

I received the throttle body cover this afternoon.  It does not come with a new O rings.  While you do not have to replace them it is certainly recommended.  Installation took about an hour for me but I am an amateur.   The installation directions specify that it can be installed with either the heavy breather or the stock, Ventilator air intake.  I can't be 100% sure but it appears to be compatible with the SE backplate described above.  I can post it better pictures tomorrow but here is one from my phone.  Hope this helps.

I agree with you : It seems mountable with the SE backplate but it's not mentionned in the specifications.

       With the breather off:  I think you can see the backplate looks very similar to the one you have above...
